Jika Wiper Blade rusak akibat tergores atau sobek, wiper blade tidak akan bisa menyapu sisa toner yang melekat pada drum sehingga menimbulkan garis hitam lurus kebawah pada hasil print out. jika wiper blade tergores, lecet atau sobek sebaiknya perlu diganti dengan yang baru.

Cara Merawat Printer Laserjet Supaya Awet :

• Hindari menyalakan printer jika tidak digunakan,
• Usahakan 6 bulan sekali printer harus di service (walaupun kondisi baik maupun rusak) dan bersihkan bagian dalamnya dari butiran bubuk toner,
• Pemaksaan proses printing pada toner yang sudah bocor bisa menyebabkan tumpukan butiran toner yang menempel pada heater dan pressure roller printer sehingga hasil print out menjadi cacat permanen,
• Hindari mencabut kertas secara paksa yang sedang mengalami paperjam, sebaiknya menarik kertas dengan searah, jika menariknya secara paksa, akan berakibat rontok pada film/gear,
• Gunakan media printing yang tahan panas, untuk menghindari kerusakan yang bisa masuk kedalam printer laserjet,
• Voltage untuk penggunaan printer laserjet tidak melebihi 5 volt dengan stabilizer servo motor, dan pastikan listrik selalu stabil,
• Jangan sampai terjatuh serpihan kawat strapless pada lubang-lubang printer karena teknologi pemanasan printer laserjet menggunakan fuser film sehingga mudah koyak dan mengakibatkan hasil print out berbercak dan kertas lusut.
