Untuk kendala seperti ini bisa diatasi dengan cara mengganti IC Eeprom pada mainboard. Selain itu juga ic eeprom bisa diganakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada mainboard yang mengalami BIOS error atau corrupt hal ini biasanya di tandai dengan Mainboard General Error.

Cara Pasang IC Eprom MG2270 :
• Olesi kaki ic dengan flux
• Solder kaki ic dengan timah sedikit, pastikan timah sudah menyatu dengan kaki ic, hal ini dilakukan karena kaki ic belum pernah kena timah.
• Pasang ic ke board sesuai dengan posisinya, jangan terbalik
• Pemasangan yang tidak sempurna (timah tidak menyatu pada kaki ic) . mengakibatkan error atau kedip / blink 9x
• IC yang kepanasan bisa rusak dan blink 9x juga
Harap berhatihati ketika melepas ic, karena jika terlalu panas blower yang digunakan maka komponen yang lain ikut rusak yang mengakibatkan mainboard tidak berfungsi atau jalur PCB putus.
